This crop of talented radio journos have successfully completed the NBS BJTC-accredited Radio News Course and today they'll receive their NBS Diplomas. Tonight, they and their tutors will be necking 101 types of coloured liquid at the Tin Drum bar in Kemptown, Brighton. The new NBS radio journalism course in Liverpool is to take place atop the iconic Radio City tower, 450 above the streets of one of the world's great cities. As well as stunning views, NBS students will get the chance to work alongside Radio City's award-winning news and programming teams. During their 13-week course, which is accredited by BJTC (Broadcast Journalism Training Council), NBS radio news students will also experience newsroom life first-hand at one of the country's top stations and will leave at the end of their course, fully equipped for an exciting career. NBS Director, Rory McLeod, commented: " Radio City does things properly. It has had an enviable reputation for relevant and successful radio programming for many years.
