NBS becomes Patron of Radio Academy
The National Broadcasting School is now a Patron of the Radio Academy.
The Radio Academy promotes the medium of radio, fosters relations between the BBC and commercial radio and gives young radio talent the chance to meet old radio duffers (!!) – let’s call them experienced, skilled and well-connected radio people! The Academy also recognises the work of radio legends in its Hall of Fame.
NBS Commercial Director, Tom Hunter, said: ” We are pleased to join a select group of Radio Academy patrons and we hope that we can contribute to many of the Academy’s future actitivies. ”
