NBS Graduation Day!
It’s that time of year: thousands of students from Sussex University and Brighton University have been going through their graduation ceremonies in front of proud families. It’s been impossible to get a drink anywhere!
It’s Graduation Day at the National Broadcasting School too. This crop of talented radio journos have successfully completed the NBS BJTC-accredited Radio News Course and today they’ll receive their NBS Diplomas. Tonight, they and their tutors will be necking 101 types of coloured liquid at the Tin Drum bar in Kemptown, Brighton.
Two of the latest group of NBS graduates, Stephan Butler and Becky Williams, took time out to talk about the course.
Listen to them chat about the lectures, the law modules, the practical nature of the course, and the NBS voice tutor – Judith Phillips
