Chill gets iced

The DAB radio station Chill is to be killed off in several smaller broadcast areas. Transmission operator, Arqiva, bought several digital transmitters from Global Radio and decided that Chill was never going to warm listeners up.

So no more Chill in Bristol, Bournemouth, Cambridge, Cardiff, Exeter and Torbay, Kent, Norwich, Peterborough, Plymouth and Cornwall, Reading and Basingstoke, Southend and Chelmsford, Sussex Coast, Swindon and Severn Estuary.

Chill will continue on DAB in London, parts of the West Midlands and Scotland.
